Puerto Vallarta Vacation Baby is now offering
Car Seats
for rent during your vacation stay. Our car seat converts from a rear facing seat for infants to a front facing seat for toddlers up to 19 kg (40 lbs), while the booster seat is perfect for toddlers between 4 and 8 years old and between 13.6 to 45 kgs(30-100 lbs).

Why should I spend money to rent Baby Equipment from you when I can bring my own from home?

 In two words Cost, Hassle.

COST:

• You can be required to pay excess baggage charges as high as $250.00 per item (each way) with some airlines.
• You may have to pay for two taxis or a larger one so as to fit in all your baggage.
• You may have to replace your baby items upon arrival as any damage to them may not be covered by the airline.

HASSLE:

• You have to lug your bags and baby items from home to the airport, to your vacation accommodation, back to the airport here and then again at your airport in your home town - All this while dealing with a little one(s) and the departure and arrival procedures.
• You have to shop in an unfamiliar place for replacement items right after your arrival.
• The items made available thru your vacation accommodation may not be up to current safety standards.

Our equipment can be rented for far less than what you may pay by bringing yours from home.

We monitor all recalls and ensure that the equipment you rent from us is safe, sanitized  and in excellent condition.  And we deliver and pick up to your Resort, Hotel, Condo or Villa.

Is your equipment safe and clean?

Yes - all of our equipment is brand name, purchased new and is JPMA approved.
Prior to each rental we ensure our entire inventory is:

• Safety inspected, cleaned, and sanitized.

• Monitored for recall notices.

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver your order directly to your hotel, resort, condo or villa located anywhere around the Bay of Banderas, all the way from Mismaloya to Sayulita and points north.

Is there a delivery charge?

No - We provide free delivery on every order of $65.00 or more between Old Town and La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. Yes - For Punta de Mita, Sayulita and areas north, and Conchas Chinas and areas south, there is a nominal $15.00 delivery charge.

Do you have full size cribs?

No, we do not carry full size cribs. The full size cribs available in this area must be assembled and dismantled with tools each rental. This leads to a safety issue as the screws strip and loosen completely and renders the crib unsafe. We provide the alternative full size play pen/sleeper with a custom made foam mattress. We also have bed rails to keep your child safe in a cot.

Is Ready to Use Baby Formula available in Puerto Vallarta?

 No, the only baby formula available here is in powder form which must be mixed with water.

 If you don’t want to change your baby’s formula during your vacation then bring a supply with you. The best way to pack it, and all liquids and creams for that matter, is in ZipLoc bags. Squeeze/suck all the excess air out and tightly seal the bag. Place the bags in the middle of your checked baggage, well surrounded by clothes and you hopefully won't have any leaks that will stain your clothes and luggage. This is a tip I learned from my many years as a Flight Attendant and it works well. That being said, aircraft are pressurized and since cans are also under pressure, they have been known to pop open. Powdered Formula would be the safest to bring.

Should I bring Baby Food?

 Gerber has a very good selection of most of the Baby Foods available in Canada and the USA.

 Don’t chance packing glass jars. They may break or burst open and you will have a huge mess to deal with when you open your suitcase. 

We provide a complete list of all food available for your vacation. We also do all the shopping and deliver to your vacation accommodation for your arrival. You are coming here for a vacation so leave the shopping to us!
